The word “amazing” is an understatement when it comes to describing Eric Nam. Selling out one of the most iconic venues in LA, Eric Nam gathered a crowd at the Wiltern to present an invigorating show that included an epic performance filled with music, dance, and enjoyment.
Eric Nam, a Korean-American singer songwriter, had been patiently waiting to see his fans again as he stepped foot on stage in his shimmering mint green jacket. The set started off with a track from his latest album “Any Other Way,” causing the entire room to move their bodies into rhythm. Not only is Nam a talented vocalist, but he is also swift on his feet as we saw him dancing in sync with two dancers in a more up tune numbers like “Runaway”, “Paradise”, and “You’re Sexy, I’m Sexy.”
The entire night consisted of Nam and his audience connecting in the same space through music and his witty remarks. Fans brought signs to get his attention with one of them reading “If you were a booger, I would pick you first” to which Nam responded, “Aww, I’d pick you first too!”. He even celebrated some of the audience by singing an impromptu Happy Birthday for them (what a nice guy!).
Nam expressed his gratitude and joy for being on stage in a room full of people who support him. There were several intimate moments with the crowd during acoustic set of “Good for You” and “One Way Lover.” After singing “Congratulations” and leaving the stage, the room began chanting for his return. With his band, Nam returned to perform two more songs “Love Die Young” and “I Don’t Know You Anymore.”
Pure entertainer is what Eric Nam is. There never was a moment to miss with him since every part of the night consisted of an exciting aspect whether that may be the music, the dancing, or simply Nam’s charming self (I just cannot get over how witty and cute he was!). LA patiently awaits for Eric Nam’s return and we wish him the best of luck on the rest of his tour!
