When you listen to Jeremy Zucker’s smooth beats and melody, it is no surprise that this twenty-two-year-old sensation has sold out two nights at El Rey in Los Angeles. Originally from New Jersey, he created his music while finishing up his studies to obtain a degree in molecular biology. I don’t know what’s more impressive — creating multi-streamed music while in college or getting a degree in molecular biology! Though his music gained attention from the early days of his music career, it skyrocketed when his EP summer was released in 2018 with “comethru,” currently holding 173 million views on YouTube. El Rey was packed with Los Angeles fans who had to see him perform these songs live.

When Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 and Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low announced their new project called Simple Creatures, the world was filled with excitement to see what these two frontmen from two iconic bands would create together. It is no surprise that this band is already touring after only having two EPs, both released within this year. With the band gaining fast popularity over a short time,the Fonda Theatre was ready to see what the two frontmen had prepared for the night.

Seventeen year old Australian singer Ruel visited the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on a Sunday night to serenade to his devout fans who were in line from five in the morning to get as close as possible to him. Having released his first seven track album Free Time in September of this year, his music is comprised of pop tunes mixed with R&B and jazz. This night was a perfect opportunity for Ruel to showcase this new album in front of his North American supporters.
