RReturning back to Southern California for the first time since the pandemic, the Band Camino made a pit stop in Santa Ana to greet their long awaited fans.
With Hastings opening up the show, the crowd welcomed the up and coming artist with open arms. Playing tracks from his EP such as Take Mine and Blank Me, the atmosphere was all set with an eager heart who were ready for the next two bands.
Momentum didn't stop when Flor took on stage starting off their set with "Play Along." They performed "Big Shot" from their upcoming album which will be released May 6th, leaving us with high expectations and excitement for their hot new tunes. The energy that Flor brought to the crowd was undeniably electrifying. By the end of their set, the audience was primed and ready to welcome The Band Camino on stage.
Walking into a dimly lit stage, Stewart, Jordan, and Burgess appeared to take their places. As the first beat of "Know It All" resonated throughout the room, a scream of excitement filled the venue. We have all waited for this moment for far too long. Without a doubt, the Band Camino has one of the most loyal fan base. During their pop tune "Roses", their fans threw bouquets of roses which illuminated the stage with pop of red colors. Jordan picked up one of the bouquets with the biggest smile on his face as he admired the crowd of people who had gathered to listen to his band.
The night continued to heighten its energy while the crowd jammed to "Underneath My Skin" and "Never A Good Time." To wrap up this eventful evening, they performed five tracks that are crowd favorites to say the least including "Haunted", "1 Last Cigarette", and "Daphne Blue." Let’s just say that it was my personal favorite moments of the show!
The Band Camino is unstoppable. As mentioned earlier, the word amazing is an understatement to describe the band. Not only do they produce excellent music, but they are also incredible performers. We cannot wait to have them back in our city. Until then, make sure to check out their music on all streaming platforms!
